  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot; cook jumbo pasta shells until al dente. Drain and cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture and arrange seam-side up in the dish.
  5. Pour remaining marinara over the shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  6. Cover with foil; bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
