Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 16 oz jar cocktail onions, drained
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Chop the cocktail onions into small pieces and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add panko breadcrumbs and seasonings (onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt). Stir until golden brown and then remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine half of the toasted breadcrumbs with cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, and chopped onions. Mix well until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl. If not serving immediately, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Top with remaining breadcrumbs before serving.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with your favorite dippers.
