  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 16 oz jar cocktail onions, drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Chop the cocktail onions into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add panko breadcrumbs and seasonings (onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt). Stir until golden brown and then remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine half of the toasted breadcrumbs with cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, and chopped onions. Mix well until smooth.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl. If not serving immediately, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Top with remaining breadcrumbs before serving.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve with your favorite dippers.
