  • 6 boneless center cut pork chops
  • 1 ½ cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups Panko crumbs
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the pork chops in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours in a ziptop bag.
  2. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
  3. Combine Panko crumbs, flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika in a mixing bowl.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the marinade; season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Coat both sides of each chop with the Panko mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat; sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Pour chicken broth around the chops and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
