  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs

  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Vegetable or canola oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Monterey jack and pepper jack cheeses with diced jalapeños and minced garlic.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and pepper. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with water.
  3. Roll small portions of the cheese mixture into balls, then coat them in flour, dip in egg wash, and roll in breadcrumbs.
