  • 6 ounces crab meat (drained)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons green onions (sliced)
  • 12 ounces wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon roasted garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 to 3 tablespoons of water (slurry)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine drained crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic paste until well blended.
  2. Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place about ½ teaspoon of filling off-center on each wrapper.
  3. Dab cornstarch slurry on one corner of the wrapper and fold it over the filling to form a seal. Fold the sides inwards to create an envelope shape and seal tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or Dutch oven to 375°F. Fry the rangoons in batches until golden brown (about 5-6 minutes).
  5. Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
