DMCA & Copyright Policy

At Recipe Aura, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or authorized agents may submit valid takedown notices to our designated DMCA Agent.

As an internet service provider, we follow the DMCA’s “safe harbor” provisions, which limit our liability for copyright infringement claims when we adhere to the law.

Submitting a Copyright Infringement Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on our site without authorization, please provide a written notice that includes:

  • Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
  • Copyrighted Work: A clear description of the material you claim is infringed.
  • Infringing Material: The exact URL(s) where the allegedly infringing content appears.
  • Contact Information: Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address (fax optional).
  • Good Faith Statement: A statement that you believe the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy Statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

⚠️ Note: Submitting false claims knowingly may result in penalties under Title 17 USC §512(f), including damages and attorney fees.

📩 Submission: Send notices via our Contact Page. Email submissions are preferred for faster handling.

By submitting a notice, you acknowledge that your information may be shared with the alleged infringer.

Counter Notification

If your content has been removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter notice including:

  • Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Description: Identification of the removed content and its original location.
  • Good Faith Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
  • Contact Information: Your name, address, and phone number.
  • Jurisdiction Statement: Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where we operate) and agreement to accept service from the person who filed the original DMCA complaint.

📩 Submission: Counter notices should be sent through our Contact Page, preferably by email.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright violations seriously. We maintain records of infringement notices and make reasonable efforts to identify repeat offenders. Accounts of repeat infringers may be permanently terminated.
