  • 1/3 cup lukewarm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 10-ounce package frozen raspberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon fresh orange zest
  • 1/3 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a stand mixer bowl, combine milk, water, yeast, sugar, flour, and salt. Mix until combined and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rest covered for about 10 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix raspberries, sugar, cornstarch, and orange zest for the filling.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (9×15 inches), then spread the raspberry mixture evenly.
  6. Roll up the dough from both long sides toward the center and pinch together to form hearts. Slice into pieces and shape into hearts.
  7. Place in a greased baking pan and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool briefly before drizzling with chocolate hazelnut spread.
