  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Boil sweet potato slices in salted water for 8-10 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and cool slightly.
  3. Smash each slice gently on the baking sheet using a fork or glass.
  4. Mix olive oil, maple syrup, chili paste, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl; brush over each smashed potato.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy and golden.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and herbs; add lime juice if desired before serving.
