  • 1 pound medium shells pasta
  • 1 pound imitation crab meat (flake style)
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • ½ cup chopped red onion
  • 1 medium red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
  • For the dressing: mayonnaise
  • lemon juice
  • Old Bay seasoning
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • sugar
  • fresh dill

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, sugar, and dill. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. While pasta cooks, chop celery, onion, bell pepper and slice imitation crab meat.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, celery, onion, bell pepper, peas and cooled pasta.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture; gently stir until evenly coated.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
