Description

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mangoes, shredded cabbage, grated carrot, sliced bell pepper, red onion, and chopped cilantro. Toss well.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the lime juice, honey or maple syrup, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the mango mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Allow the slaw to rest for 5–10 minutes before serving to let flavors blend.
