Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken soup)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon (crumbled, optional)
- 1/4 cup green onions (sliced, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear for about 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, chicken broth, and cream of mushroom soup. Stir until well mixed and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- In the last few minutes of cooking, sprinkle cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top. Cover until cheese is melted.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
