- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 medium bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente (10-12 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté onion and bell pepper in the same skillet until softened (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, then stir in blue cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
- Return steak to skillet; mix in cooked rigatoni to coat evenly with sauce.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish; top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
