  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente (10-12 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté onion and bell pepper in the same skillet until softened (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in blue cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
  5. Return steak to skillet; mix in cooked rigatoni to coat evenly with sauce.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish; top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
