  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper
  • Pinch crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry and season with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Sear the steak bites for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned, working in batches if necessary.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté until fragrant. Toss in the steak bites to coat with garlic butter, then remove from the skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, melt more butter and add minced garlic. Pour in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese and seasoning until smooth, then return steak bites to coat evenly.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
