Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter – diced
- 3 oz. bittersweet chocolate chips or squares
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. liquid red food coloring
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 8 oz. cream cheese – room temperature
- 4 tbsp butter – room temperature
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter and bittersweet chocolate together until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the melted chocolate with sugar, then add eggs one by one, followed by vanilla, salt, food coloring, flour, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with butter and confectioners sugar until creamy.
- Layer half the brownie batter in the pan, spread half the cream cheese mixture over it, top with remaining brownie batter and dollops of cream cheese; swirl gently.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Sprinkle Valentine M&M’s on top while warm and allow cooling before cutting.
